Prebischtor (Pravcicka Brana)

In the Bohemian Switzerland, only 14 kilometers away from the climate resort Rathen is the Prebischtor. As the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe, it is based in one of the most beautiful areas in the Bohemian Switzerland and is the landmark of the region.

Physical and chemical weatherings on the sandstone have formed this arch over the centuries. Its dimensions are impressive, even if they seem larger if you stand in front of it. The gate has a radian of 26.5 meters, the height is 21 meters, the width is 7 to 8 meters and the minimum gauge of the upper apex is still 3 meters. 

In order to preserve this wonder of the nature for the next generations, it is not allowed to walk on the Prebischtor.
