Besides beautiful buildings as the “Zwinger”, the castle of Dresden and the Curch of our Lady, Dresden also has a lot of cultural treasures which are worth being visited. In the Zwinger there is a collection of Meissen porcelain, the „Uhrenkabinett“ in the „physikalische Salon“ (a watch exhibition) , the historical museum with precious exhibits – not to be forgotten the “Gemäldegallerie” (an art museum) with the Sistine Madonna of Raphael or the "Grüne Gewölbe" (Green Vault – the museum with the largest collection of treasures in Europe). The “Albertinum” (a modern art museum) contains the treasures of Saxony like the collection of coins, wonderful jewelry and craftsmanship at its best – for example: a cherry pit with 185 engraved faces.
